A 75-year-old volunteer for the Turkish environmental group TEMA, Ayten Yakut, has been released from custody. Her lawyer, Gürbüz Özdemir, stated that a court ordered her release today. The decision cited her advanced age and health condition.
Yakut was released under judicial control measures. These include a ban on traveling abroad.
