About Newshelp
Newshelp is built by the Social Institute of Change and Impact (SICI) — a social-change institute working across many fields, from NGO operations and consultancy to education and technology.
SICI's work brings it into contact with communities in conflict zones, in-need populations, and the Global South. There, one need became impossible to ignore: access to balanced, multi-perspective information is not a convenience — it is a necessity. Understanding any story means hearing it from every side that reports it.
Newshelp was built to meet that need — not as a hobby, but out of necessity, drawing on the knowledge of the institute's consultants. The platform brings together 35+ international sources — from Al Jazeera and BBC to TRT, DW, Sputnik, and Africa Today — and uses AI to surface, connect, and synthesize the stories that matter. Today, over 140,000 articles are indexed and served to more than 35,000 readers around the world every month.
