Himalaya Flood Disaster: 389 Dead, Nearly 1,500 Missing After Nepal Glacier Collapse
A catastrophic flash flood triggered by a glacier collapse in the Himalayas has killed at least 389 people in Nepal and Tibet, with nearly 1,500 more still unaccounted for.
The disaster struck on Wednesday along the Nepal-China border, sending a massive wall of ice, mud, and rock through mountain valleys and sweeping away entire villages [228976].
