At least nine people have died after a flood and landslide in Nepal, according to police in the country, as reported by Reuters.
Several people remain missing in the flood. Among them are 384 tourists. Of those, 291 are foreign nationals, according to authorities.
Nepal’s foreign minister said an earthquake triggered an ice and landslide, which then caused the flood.
The landslide occurred in the border area between the countries in the Himalayas.
