On World Food Day, the humanitarian organization Action Against Hunger released a report identifying the 10 countries hit hardest by food crises. Two out of every three hungry people in the world live in these countries. The report points to war, displacement, and the climate crisis as the main causes of their suffering. The findings show that hunger is not caused by a lack of food, but by conflict and instability that prevent people from accessing it.
