A massive drone attack struck the Moscow region overnight, killing at least two people, Russian authorities said Tuesday.
Russia's military said it destroyed most of the 650 drones at long range. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said 105 drones were intercepted as they approached the capital.
The dead included a 71-year-old man pulled from the rubble of a house.
Russian state news agency Tass called it the second-largest drone attack on the capital region in two years.
