Turkey's Korkut air-defense gun is now shooting down Russian drones over Ukraine, according to reports.
The weapon is designed to hit low-flying targets with rapid gunfire.
However, it is not stopping every attack. Nearly half of Russia's jet-powered Shahed drones still reach their targets.
In September, Russia launched roughly equal numbers of fast, jet-powered Shaheds and slower propeller models, according to one analyst's count.
And Russia's winter campaign against Ukraine's power grid has not yet begun.
