Nepal's Deadly Flood: Climate Justice or Just Climate Change?

In August, a glacier collapse triggered deadly floods in Nepal. In the weeks that followed, researchers from the World Weather Attribution group quickly studied the event. They concluded that climate change played a role. The findings raise a difficult question for Nepal: what does climate justice look like for a country that has contributed little to global warming but suffers greatly from its effects? Tanuja Pandey, a climate justice activist in Nepal, spoke about this issue with Paloma Beltran of Living on Earth, a public radio environmental news magazine.
