Europe unprepared for drone war, Latvia's president warns

Latvia's president has warned that Europe is not keeping up with the rapid development of drone and aerial warfare in Ukraine. He said most NATO countries could not repel an attack by Russian missiles if the conflict expands. Edgars Rinkēvičs made the remarks in an interview with the Guardian in Washington DC. He said drone warfare in Ukraine is moving at "lightning speed." He added that current efforts to prepare for an aerial war could be obsolete by the middle of next year.
