A dam at a water reservoir in Nepal has breached, according to district authorities. Water levels in the river have already started to rise.
Earlier on Friday, rescue operations following the flood disaster were paused on the Chinese side due to concerns about the dam’s condition. The Nepalese army says it is also suspending its work for at least an hour and a half.
