Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan presented each leader at the NATO summit with a personalized revolver and a box of ammunition, according to reports from NTB. The gift for British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer was taken into custody by British officials in Turkey. They will likely seal the weapon before shipping it to the United Kingdom, as importing functional firearms is illegal there, the BBC reports. Starmer told journalists on his flight home from the summit that Erdogan gave a similar gift to all attending leaders.
