Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan surprised NATO leaders with a gift at the end of the summit in Ankara: a .357 magnum revolver. Prime Minister Mark Carney said the firearm was “not what I expected.” Carney responded by giving Erdoğan a bottle of maple syrup. The exchange took place as leaders departed the meeting on Tuesday.
