Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon on Saturday killed at least seven people, including two children. The attacks came just hours after reports emerged of a possible ceasefire agreement.
The continued fighting threatens a tentative deal between the United States and Iran to end the wider war in the Middle East. The strikes also raise a critical question: Could Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu lose the support of former U.S. President Donald Trump if the bombing continues?
