Hezbollah’s leader, Naem Qassem, rejected any ceasefire agreement that would allow Israel to carry out attacks in Lebanon without restriction.
“There is no such thing as a ceasefire with freedom of movement for Israel,” Qassem said.
His statement comes amid ongoing talks over a potential truce between the two sides. Hezbollah insists that any deal must include clear limits on Israeli military operations.
The comment signals a major obstacle to any ceasefire, as Israel has demanded the ability to strike targets it deems a threat inside Lebanon.
