The Israeli military launched drone strikes in southern Lebanon on Thursday, just hours after United States President Donald Trump and Iranian leaders signed a memorandum of understanding.
The agreement sets up a framework for negotiations to end the war that began in late February, launched by the Trump administration and Israel.
Lebanese media reported that an Israeli drone dropped a munition on the village of Beit Yahoun, causing injuries. No further details on casualties were immediately available.
The strikes come as the region watches for signs of whether the new peace framework can hold.
