A London-based news channel is broadcasting coverage of Iran's protests that the government in Tehran cannot stop.
Iran International, a private Persian-language satellite channel, calls itself a voice of truth for Iranians. Since 2017, it has become a key source of information for people inside Iran. Authorities there have blocked it, but viewers use private VPNs to access its reports.
In response, Iranian officials have declared the channel a terrorist organization. They accuse it of inciting unrest during the recent nationwide protests.
The station remains a prime target for Iranian authorities. It continues to broadcast from its headquarters in London.
