President Donald Trump's journey to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, was disrupted Tuesday when his official aircraft, Air Force One, turned back to Washington.
The plane returned after officials reported a "minor electrical issue." The incident forced an abort of the initial flight.
Shortly after midnight, the President continued his trip on a different aircraft. He boarded a C-32, a modified Boeing 757 used by the Air Force for domestic travel to smaller airports.
Trump is scheduled to attend the annual meeting of global leaders and business executives in Davos.
