Bristol Bears have reached the Champions Cup last 16 after a stunning 61-49 away win over South Africa's Bulls. The Bulls, who started 10 current Springbok internationals, were overwhelmed in a frantic first half.
The English side scored three tries in the first 10 minutes and seven total before halftime. This gave them a commanding 47-28 lead at the break. Noah Heward scored two of Bristol's nine tries in the match.
The victory in Pretoria secures Bristol's place in the tournament's knockout phase. It was the Bulls' first home game of the group campaign, but they remain without a win.
In other Champions Cup action, Glasgow Warriors won 33-21 away to France's Clermont Auvergne.
