Russian Drones Strike Chernihiv Apartments; Ukraine Intercepts Most

Russian forces launched a major drone attack on Ukraine overnight, hitting apartment buildings in the northern city of Chernihiv. The attack is part of a sustained Russian campaign targeting Ukrainian energy infrastructure and cities. Shahed drones are slow, low-flying UAVs used as one-way explosive missiles.
