Two days before Brazil's presidential runoff, President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and Senator Flávio Bolsonaro are targeting the same group: the roughly 33 million voters who did not vote in the first round.
Polls show a statistical tie, with only 1% or 2% of voters undecided. The latest Datafolha poll gives Bolsonaro 51% of valid votes and Lula 49%, within the margin of error. Quaest puts them at 46% and 44% of total voting intentions.
With the race so close, mobilising those who stayed home on October 4 could decide the outcome.
