Musk Blames Trump for Starlink Limits—Reports Point to Musk Himself
Elon Musk says the decision to restrict Ukraine's use of Starlink satellite internet ultimately came from the U.S. president. "Ultimately POTUS," Musk said, referring to the President of the United States. But recent reports suggest Musk himself was behind the limits, not the White House. The Pentagon says it gave no such order. The restrictions have real consequences on the battlefield. As of October 20, Ukraine's drones were still losing their Starlink connection at speeds above 160 kilometers per hour (about 100 miles per hour). Starlink is a satellite-based internet service that provides connectivity in areas where regular networks are unavailable.
