Starlink Won Them a Battle. A Speed Cap May Hand It Back.

Ukraine retook 277 square kilometers north of Lyman in a operation. Now, a speed limit on Starlink could put that ground at risk.
The drones defending that line lose their Starshield satellite link above roughly 160 km/h. Starshield is the military version of Starlink, SpaceX's satellite internet service.
Above that speed, the drones can no longer connect to the satellite network. That leaves them unable to send or receive the data they need to operate.
The cap could give Russia a chance to claw back the territory Ukraine won.
