US President Donald Trump said Sunday that Russia and Ukraine had agreed to an energy ceasefire. He announced this on his social media platform, Truth Social.
Neither Kyiv nor Moscow confirmed the agreement. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky later said Russia had carried out new strikes on a Ukrainian power plant.
Reports also suggest at least five people were killed and other civilians were injured in strikes on the cities of Kharkiv and Ivano-Frankivsk.
