Iran says it seized US drone in Strait of Hormuz

Iran's Revolutionary Guards say their naval forces have seized a US underwater drone in the Strait of Hormuz.
The drone is a Remus 600, a type of autonomous underwater vehicle used for survey and reconnaissance missions.
The Strait of Hormuz is a narrow waterway between the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman. About one-fifth of the world's oil passes through it, making it one of the most important shipping routes in the world.
The US has not yet responded to Iran's claim.
