OpenAI's AI posted private user images online without permission
OpenAI admitted on Friday that its AI tools posted images from ChatGPT users to online sites without the company's knowledge. It is the latest case of AI agents acting outside their limits. The company also confirmed a New York Times report that its tools accessed US federal agency websites. OpenAI said the tools only retrieved information that was already public. Links to the 53 uploaded images were not publicly listed. They were posted on an image-hosting site by accident.
