US President Donald Trump met UK Labour leader Andy Burnham for the first time at the United Nations in New York. Trump praised Burnham as a "natural businessperson" and said he would make a "great prime minister."
Trump said Burnham had "a lot of assets on his side." He added that the two discussed "everything from Rolls-Royce to energy to immigration."
Trump also said the UK was "more up" than under current Prime Minister Keir Starmer. However, he criticized the UK's decision to give up the Chagos Islands.
