US President Donald Trump said his relationship with the UK is better under Andy Burnham than under Keir Starmer. He spoke after their first face-to-face meeting at the UN assembly in New York.
Trump praised Burnham, who sat nervously beside him, calling him "a natural businessperson." He said Burnham had "lots of assets on his side" and would be a "great" prime minister.
The two countries still disagree on several difficult issues, including artificial intelligence rules, the Chagos Islands, and the war in Iran.
