Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said an international initiative is needed to replace the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL). Erdogan made the call during a meeting with Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam in New York. He said Türkiye will continue working to help establish lasting peace and stability in Lebanon.
