Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa met with Mazloum Abdi, the commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), on Tuesday at the People’s Palace in Damascus. The talks focused on integrating the SDF into state institutions and the next steps in that process.
Foreign Minister Asaad Hassan al-Shibani and Deir ez-Zor Governor Ziad al-Ayesh also attended the meeting, according to an official statement. No further details on the outcomes were released.
