Ukraine Strikes Russia’s Largest Online Marketplace, Crippling Payments and Drone Supply Lines

Ukrainian military hackers have knocked out the payment and customer-service systems of Wildberries, Russia’s biggest online marketplace, according to the country’s military intelligence agency (HUR). The cyberattack, launched as part of a dual campaign, follows recent warehouse fires and targets a platform that reportedly moves parts for Russian drones. The disruption blocks shoppers from completing purchases and cuts off a key logistics channel used to supply military equipment, HUR said in a statement. Wildberries, which handles millions of daily orders across Russia, has not yet confirmed the full extent of the outage. The move is the latest in a series of Ukrainian operations aimed at weakening Russia’s commercial infrastructure, which Moscow relies on to sustain its war effort.
