Egypt, Turkey team up for climate talks.

Egypt and Turkey have agreed to expand environmental cooperation. The deal was discussed during a meeting between Egyptian Minister of Local Development and Environment Manal Awad and Turkish Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum.
The talks took place on the sidelines of the D-8 Ministerial Meeting on Environment. The meeting was held in Turkey on July 16–17.
Both sides are preparing for the 31st UN Climate Change Conference (COP31). The assistant minister also attended the discussions.
