An Iranian newspaper has issued a death threat against Friedrich Merz, the leader of Germany’s opposition, in retaliation for the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The Tehran-based daily published a list of 13 world leaders it identified as targets, with Merz among them.
