China to US and Iran: Stop threats, start talks

China has called on the United States and Iran to resolve their differences through dialogue, not force. A spokesperson for China’s Foreign Ministry said that “reigniting” war benefits no one.
The statement follows new US military strikes against Iran, which prompted retaliatory action from Tehran. Beijing warned that further escalation would harm regional stability and global security.
China urged both sides to show restraint and return to negotiations.
