The Kremlin said President Donald Trump “reaffirmed his readiness” to help end the war in Ukraine during a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The call lasted one hour and 25 minutes. Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov described the conversation as “businesslike” and “highly constructive.” He added that the two leaders discussed a possible settlement to the Ukraine conflict. The call took place ahead of a NATO summit scheduled for July 7-8 in Ankara, Turkey.
