Ukrainian oligarch Vadym Yermolaiev injured in Monaco explosion

A Ukrainian oligarch sanctioned by Kyiv for allegedly operating in Russian-occupied Crimea was injured in an explosion in Monaco. The blast also hurt two other people, including a 13-year-old.
Vadym Yermolaiev was one of several individuals injured in the incident, which occurred in the wealthy principality on the French Riviera. Ukrainian authorities had previously sanctioned Yermolaiev for conducting business in Crimea after Russia’s annexation of the peninsula in 2014.
The explosion left two additional victims, one of whom is a minor. Authorities in Monaco have not yet released details on the cause of the blast or the extent of the injuries.
