Egypt’s ambassador to the United Nations said Sudan is suffering from a “manufactured crisis” and warned the international community not to ignore the Sudanese people’s pain.
Ambassador Ehab Mostafa Awad Mostafa, Egypt’s permanent representative to the UN, made the statement during a Security Council session on Friday about the situation in Sudan. He urged global powers to act, saying the crisis was deliberately created.
