Nigeria Police Chief Orders Probe After Teacher Handed to Mob, Killed

The teacher, identified as Ummulkhair, was killed. The directive came after human rights lawyer Hamza Dantani filed a formal petition. Dantani called for an “immediate, independent and thorough investigation” into the events leading to her death.
