Israel's Iran war a 'strategic disaster,' says analyst

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is heading toward a clash with US President Donald Trump, who wants to end the Iran conflict. Neither leader has achieved his goals, and Israeli forces remain tied down in Lebanon.
Speaking to FRANCE 24, Aaron David Miller, a senior fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, said the war "has been a strategic disaster for the state of Israel."
"All of Benjamin Netanyahu's war aims – diminished support for proxies, restrictions on ballistic missiles, overthrow of the regime, or weakening of the regime – none of this has occurred," Miller added.
