Iran Deal: Survival, Not Victory, for Ordinary Iranians

For many Iranians, the government’s nuclear deal with the United States is not a cause for celebration. Instead, they see it as a grim necessity. The real question for them is not whether the agreement is a political victory, but whether it will lower soaring prices and reduce the constant fear of another war. While Tehran markets the deal as a win, ordinary citizens judge it by its impact on their daily lives: lower costs and greater security.
