A Ukrainian naval drone exploded in the Romanian port of Constanta on Friday morning, officials said. No injuries were reported.
Ukraine’s navy claimed ownership of the unmanned vessel, stating that the device had been “jammed” by Russian electronic warfare, causing it to lose control and detonate.
Constanta sits on the Black Sea coast and is a key NATO hub for the region. The incident raises fresh concerns about the spillover effects of the war in Ukraine.
