India's Adani Group has agreed to pay $18 million to settle a civil fraud case brought by the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The US regulator accused the company of paying bribes and misleading investors. The Adanis denied the allegations. The settlement ends the SEC's case without any admission of wrongdoing by the Adani Group. The deal is pending court approval.
