A surge of interest in winter sports, ignited by the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, is reshaping leisure and commerce in China and attracting international business attention.

The momentum from the Games has transformed into a sustained consumer trend. Families are increasingly spending on ski trips, equipment, and apparel, integrating winter activities into their annual routines [10746]. The boom is part of a broader, global movement to make winter sports more accessible. In Japan, innovative "synthetic ice" rinks are appearing in urban areas.
