Trump Says Iran War Will End 'Soon' After Rejecting Hormuz Truce Deal

US President Donald Trump has rejected Iran's latest peace proposal to end the seven-month conflict and reopen the Strait of Hormuz, even as he predicted the war will end "soon" and said new talks could resume within days [251856][251831].
Iran presented the plan at the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
