The leader of Turkey's opposition alliance has vowed to make Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu the country's next president.
Meral Akşener, leader of the İYİ Party, made the declaration at a rally in Uşak. She stated the "Turkey Alliance" would achieve this goal.
Akşener emphasized that alliance supporters are gathering in public squares across Turkey to demand justice.
She also called for a major upcoming rally in Istanbul.
