Jack Harlow is leaving his chart-topping persona behind. The rapper from Louisville, Kentucky, is making a major musical shift on his upcoming fourth album.
Titled "Monica," the project moves away from the braggadocio of past smashes like "First Class" and "Lovin on Me." Instead, Harlow is embracing a more intimate sound.
The new music focuses on hand-played R&B. This marks a deliberate change in direction for the artist, who no longer wants to rely on the boastful style that defined his earlier hits.
