French President Emmanuel Macron states that Russia has not demonstrated a willingness to discuss a modified US peace proposal for Ukraine. His comments follow renewed international efforts to end the nearly four-year conflict.
Macron pledged that Western allies would maintain "continued pressure" on Russia to negotiate. He also vowed that France and its partners would persist in their strong support for Ukraine.
"We will continue to support Ukraine with force," the French president added, signaling no reduction in military or financial aid to Kyiv.
