Zelensky Proposes Peace Plan Talks, Seeks European and US Support
President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on Tuesday that Ukraine is prepared to move forward with a US-supported plan to end the war with Russia. He stated he is willing to discuss contentious parts of this plan with US President Donald Trump. Zelensky emphasized that these talks must also include European allies. Speaking to a coalition of supportive nations, the Ukrainian leader urged European partners to develop a framework for a "reassurance force." This military presence would operate in Ukraine. He further called for continued support for Kyiv. Zelensky stated this backing is essential as long as Moscow shows no sign of ending its invasion.
