German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul has announced he is finalizing plans for a trip to China. This visit comes after he suddenly cancelled a previously scheduled trip to Beijing last month.
Speaking at the Berlin Foreign Policy Forum on Tuesday, Wadephul stated he is “confident” the visit will happen soon. Reports indicate the new trip is planned for the second week of December.
The minister postponed his original October visit after failing to arrange key meetings. The upcoming trip aims to strengthen diplomatic engagement between the two nations.
