Young consumers in China are spending more on cosmetic medical procedures. A growing number of men are also participating in this trend, according to a report from Sisram Medical Ltd. and its subsidiary, Alma. The companies are backed by Fosun Pharma.
These consumers view aesthetic treatments as an investment in their physical, emotional, and social wellness. They are increasingly choosing energy-based procedures, which use technologies like lasers.
An executive from the firm stated that Asia's market for these treatments is still developing. This relatively low adoption rate means the region has greater potential for growth compared to more established markets like North America.
