Iran says a new nuclear agreement with the United States is possible, but only if Washington accepts three key conditions.
The demands are set as critical talks begin this Thursday. Iranian diplomats insist the U.S. must formally accept Iran's symbolic right to enrich uranium. They also require that Tehran be allowed to dilute its own stockpile of highly enriched uranium inside the country.
Finally, Iran says the U.S. must agree not to impose new controls on Iran's ballistic missile program.
While Tehran calls these the necessary preconditions for a deal, the view of U.S. President Donald Trump remains unclear. His acceptance of these terms is uncertain.
